SHIPPING POLICY

-We ship via USPS.  Insurance is not included in your shipping charges, so if your order is lost in the mail, damaged or stolen we do not replace the order for free.  Once the postal service shows delivery on your package we consider it delivered.  If you have issues in your area with package theft we suggest you ship to your place of work or a more secure shipping address.
The Priority mail option does give you $100 in coverage from the USPS.

LOCAL TAXES

Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense and are calculated automatically. Online sales may/and are becoming subject to state tax laws. 

RETURN &  CANCELLATION POLICY

I gladly accept cancellations
Request a cancellation within: 1 hour of purchase

Due to the nature of handmade body and beauty care products, Mathair Earth does not accept returns or exchanges. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us. On rare occasions, you may be granted a store credit or refund for your item. Once a product has been opened and used, we can no longer sell that item. This maintains a high quality standard regarding hygiene and sanitation that we must uphold to ensure each and every customer is receiving items that have not been contaminated.


Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hellomathairearth@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hellomathairearth@gmail.com and send your unopened item to: 2108 W Norcrest Dr Boise Idaho US 83705.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

NATURAL PRODUCTS NOTE:

We do our best to eliminate unneeded preservatives in our products. That being said, if you introduce water to a product-that is an open door for bacteria and/or mold to grow. Do your best to keep products out of direct contact with water and you will increase the longevity of your product while keeping it free from other biological agents.

We do use small amounts of skin approved preservatives in water based products to prevent the growth of bacteria. That being said, if you are adverse to preservatives we recommend our body care products made without water, that are strictly oil based. If a natural company is marketing no preservative use in a water based product, we cannot in good conscience agree with that decision. Water is the basis of all life and definitely invites bacterial growth-whether or not you can see it with the naked eye. 

 

We recommend storing creams and lotions in dark, cool places. Sunlight and direct heat can cause products to melt or in some cases will cause bacterial or mold growth (an example being leaving hand lotion in your car during the summer).

We recommend using all products within a 6-12 month time period to ensure freshness.

Please use caution when using essential or fragrance oil based products if you have sensitive skin. If you are concerned about allergies, we recommend testing a small patch of skin with the product. We welcome all questions in our contact form via email.

We do not intend to treat, cure, or heal any medical condition through the use of our products.Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition that requires professional consultation.  We do however have recommendations for those who may have skin sensitivities or problematic skin.
